2016-11-29 | trailer: have function to describe trailer layout | Jonathan Tan | 1 | -0/+25
Create a function that, taking a string, describes the position of its trailer block (if available) and the contents thereof, and make trailer use it. This makes it easier for other Git components, in the future, to interpret trailer blocks in the same way as trailer. In a subsequent patch, another component will be made to use this. 2016-01-14 | interpret-trailers: add option for in-place editing | Tobias Klauser | 1 | -1/+2
Add a command line option --in-place to support in-place editing akin to sed -i. This allows to write commands like the following: git interpret-trailers --trailer "X: Y" a.txt > b.txt && mv b.txt a.txt in a more concise way: git interpret-trailers --trailer "X: Y" --in-place a.txt Signed-off-by: Tobias Klauser <tklauser@distanz.ch> Signed-off-by: Junio C Hamano <gitster@pobox.com>
