Fix a memory leak in codepaths that use the "struct
transport_ls_refs_options" API. Since the introduction of the struct
in 39835409d10 (connect, transport: encapsulate arg in struct,
2021-02-05) the caller has been responsible for freeing it.
That commit in turn migrated code originally added in
402c47d9391 (clone: send ref-prefixes when using protocol v2,
2018-07-20) and b4be74105fe (ls-remote: pass ref prefixes when
requesting a remote's refs, 2018-03-15). Only some of those codepaths
were releasing the allocated resources of the struct, now all of them
will.
Mark the "t/t5511-refspec.sh" test as passing when git is compiled
with SANITIZE=leak. They'll now be listed as running under the
"GIT_TEST_PASSING_SANITIZE_LEAK=true" test mode (the "linux-leaks" CI
target). Previously 24/47 tests would fail.

Since commit 9ba89f484e git learned how to push to a remote branch using
the source @, for example:
git push origin @:master
However, if the right-hand side is missing, the push fails:
git push origin @
It is obvious what is the desired behavior, and allowing the push makes
things more consistent.
Additionally, @:master now has the same semantics as HEAD:master.

This trick was performed via
$ (cd t &&
sed -i -e 's/master/main/g' -e 's/MASTER/MAIN/g' \
-e 's/Master/Main/g' -- t551*.sh)
This allows us to define `GIT_TEST_DEFAULT_INITIAL_BRANCH_NAME=main`
for those tests.

Loosen restrictions on refspecs by allowing patterns that have a "*"
within a component instead of only as the whole component.
Remove the logic to accept a single "*" as a whole component from
check_refname_format(), and implement an extended form of that logic
in check_refname_component(). Pass the pointer to the flags argument
to the latter, as it has to clear REFNAME_REFSPEC_PATTERN bit when
it sees "*".
Teach check_refname_component() function to allow an asterisk "*"
only when REFNAME_REFSPEC_PATTERN is set in the flags, and drop the
bit after seeing a "*", to ensure that one side of a refspec
contains at most one asterisk.
This will allow us to accept refspecs such as `for/bar*:foo/baz*`.
Any refspec which functioned before shall continue functioning with
the new logic.

In a repository with many refs, check_refname_component can be a major
contributor to the runtime of some git commands. One such command is
git rev-parse HEAD
Timings for one particular repo, with about 60k refs, almost all
packed, are:
Old: 35 ms
New: 29 ms
Many other commands which read refs are also sped up.

In order to keep the requirements strict, each * has to be a full path
component, and there may only be one * per side. This requirement is
enforced entirely by check_ref_format(); the matching implementation
will substitute the whatever matches the * in the lhs for the * in the
rhs.

This patch provides a way to specify "push matching heads" using a
special refspec ":". This is useful because it allows "push = +:"
as a way to specify that matching refs will be pushed but, in addition,
forced updates will be allowed, which was not possible before.

We tightened the refspec validation code in an earlier commit ef00d15
(Tighten refspec processing, 2008-03-17) per my suggestion, but the
suggestion was misguided to begin with and it broke this usage:
$ git push origin HEAD~12:master
The syntax of push refspecs and fetch refspecs are similar in that they
are both colon separated LHS and RHS (possibly prefixed with a + to
force), but the similarity ends there. For example, LHS in a push refspec
can be anything that evaluates to a valid object name at runtime (except
when colon and RHS is missing, or it is a glob), while it must be a
valid-looking refname in a fetch refspec. To validate them correctly, the
caller needs to be able to say which kind of refspecs they are. It is
unreasonable to keep a single interface that cannot tell which kind it is
dealing with, and ask it to behave sensibly.
This commit separates the parsing of the two into different functions, and
clarifies the code to implement the parsing proper (i.e. splitting into
two parts, making sure both sides are wildcard or neither side is).
This happens to also allow pushing a commit named with the esoteric "look
for that string" syntax:
$ git push ../test.git ':/remote.c: Fix overtight refspec:master'
