2021-11-01leak tests: mark some apply tests as passing with SANITIZE=leakLibravatar Ævar Arnfjörð Bjarmason1-0/+2
Mark some tests that match "*apply*" as passing when git is compiled with SANITIZE=leak. They'll now be listed as running under the "GIT_TEST_PASSING_SANITIZE_LEAK=true" test mode (the "linux-leaks" CI target). 2020-07-30t: remove test_oid_init in testsLibravatar brian m. carlson1-1/+0
Now that we call test_oid_init in the setup for all test scripts, there's no point in calling it individually. Remove all of the places where we've done so to help keep tests tidy. 2020-01-15t4134: compute appropriate length constantLibravatar brian m. carlson1-2/+3
Instead of using a specific invalid hard-coded object ID, generate one of the appropriate length by looking one up in the translation tables. Signed-off-by: brian m. carlson <sandals@crustytoothpaste.net> Signed-off-by: Junio C Hamano <gitster@pobox.com>
2010-11-09tests: add missing &&Libravatar Jonathan Nieder1-1/+1
Breaks in a test assertion's && chain can potentially hide failures from earlier commands in the chain. Commands intended to fail should be marked with !, test_must_fail, or test_might_fail. The examples in this patch do not require that. Signed-off-by: Jonathan Nieder <jrnieder@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Junio C Hamano <gitster@pobox.com>
2010-03-28Introduce remove_or_warn functionLibravatar Peter Collingbourne1-0/+38
This patch introduces the remove_or_warn function which is a generalised version of the {unlink,rmdir}_or_warn functions. It takes an additional parameter indicating the mode of the file to be removed. The patch also modifies certain functions to use remove_or_warn where appropriate, and adds a test case for a bug fixed by the use of remove_or_warn.
