2008-07-08install-doc-quick - use git --exec-path to find git-sh-setupLibravatar Mark Levedahl1-1/+1
This is needed as git-sh-setup is no longer in the path. Signed-off-by: Mark Levedahl <mlevedahl@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Junio C Hamano <gitster@pobox.com>
2007-08-06Fix "make GZ=1 quick-install-doc"Libravatar Junio C Hamano1-5/+3
The basic idea is from Mark Levedahl. I do not use GZ=1 nor quick-install-doc myself (there obviously is a chicken-and-egg issue with quick-install-doc for me). Signed-off-by: Junio C Hamano <gitster@pobox.com>
2007-08-05Fix install-doc-quick targetLibravatar Junio C Hamano1-1/+3
The script starts in a subdirectory of the source directory to muck with a branch whose structure does not have anything to do with the actual work tree. Go up to the top to make it clear that we operate on the whole tree. It also exported GIT_DIR without any good reason. Remove it. Signed-off-by: Junio C Hamano <gitster@pobox.com>
2007-07-02Rewrite "git-frotz" to "git frotz"Libravatar Junio C Hamano1-4/+4
This uses the remove-dashes target to replace "git-frotz" to "git frotz". Signed-off-by: Junio C Hamano <gitster@pobox.com>
2006-12-23Makefile: add quick-install-doc for installing pre-built manpagesLibravatar Eric Wong1-0/+31
This adds and uses the install-doc-quick.sh file to Documentation/, which is usable for people who track either the 'html' or 'man' heads in Junio's repository (prefixed with 'origin/' if cloned locally). You may override this by specifying DOC_REF in the make environment or in config.mak. GZ may also be set in the environment (or config.mak) if you wish to gzip the documentation after installing it.
