Merge branch 'rs/wt-status-detached-branch-fix'
"git status --branch --short" accessed beyond the constant string
"HEAD", which has been corrected.

wt-status: don't skip a magical number of characters blindly
wt-status: avoid building bogus branch name with detached HEAD
